A number of signposted walks are special, and even unique, in that they offer a combination of nature and culture or nature and local traditions. Examples are the "art trail" (Sentiero per l'arte) in the Verzasca Valley, along which it is possible to admire the work of artists of international renown, or the "wine trail" (Via del vino) through valley-floor vineyards bathed in sunshine, or various small paths through the nature-conservation zone of the Bolle di Magadino.
