The region of Tenero and the Verzasca Valley have many farms which have diversified into tourism; you can organize a lunch or buy them on the spot (see farms list).
Some of these also rent rooms out to holidaymakers (farms or rural accomodations).
Is a simple form of accommodation, but it does offer direct contact with nature and farming. A number of farms also offer the possibility of spending the night on a bed of hay, of watching how products such as cheese are produced.
