The Val Verzasca museum in Sonogno houses items pertaining to everyday life and farming and herding in the Verzasca Valley, with an eye to preserving and safeguarding the peasant culture of the past. The museum houses objects used in processing milk and its by-products, tools used in farming the land and woods and for woodworking. The museum shows how wool and hemp were worked. For a number of years now, the museum has hosted temporary exhibits such as, for example, the show on how the Franco mill and power plant were restored.
